| The route from Marinette to Green Bay has 1 hill (an overpass). The 67 miles were easy up until we came into Green Bay. For some reason, they keep running the route through downtown with all the traffic lights and traffic. We came through unscathed, but others who came in later were caught in rain and heavy traffic. Hopefully the organizers will find a new route for any future trips. |
Although there were almost 1200 bikers on the ride, everyone rides at their own pace. Some like to get up at 4 am and leave by 5am, then get breakfast on the road. Others “sleep in” and get their bags on the trucks by 9 am. |

| A local bike club set up a rest stop in a state park. They always do a great job on this rest stop.

Here’s a picture of some of the riders coming into the rest stop.

This tandem team claimed to be powered by the teddy bear that appeared to be holding the water bottle.

| We stayed at Prebble High School again. The first challenge is to find your bags which have been lined up in the parking lot.
|
The bikers that arrive by noon have the privilege of helping unload the 2 semi trailers of bags.
|
Then watch as a Tent city pops up all around the school grounds.
